2. 1.Rainwater collections: Using rainwater to water your plants instead of using pipe water.
2.Geothermal A/C: Using the earths heat as a heating system.
3.Solar Photovoltaic: Using the sun light to convert it into energy using solar panels.

3. Conservation & Biodiversity

4. Human Expansion and Activity

5. I think if we took natures territory into consideration, we might understand that they have living spaces too. Polar bears are on the way to extinction and we are slowly making a difference for them. Still, big business's around the world don't care about people or animals, and will kill anything that gets in their way from making money. If we took charge and realized that they can only make money if we buy the product and stop buying it, then we will get their attention. In order to save the planet, we need to break our horrible cycle and get everyone's attention, and force them to make a difference.

1. Hurricane Floyd 1999

2. Category: 1
Wind speed(kph): 120 mph
Typical Damage: some damage with a Storm Surge of 9 to 10.

3. Hurricane Floyd began in Africa's coast and began moving towards the US. The Bamhamas were the first to be hit and at the borderof the east coast, Floyd took gradual turns and stayed on the east coast heading north. Floyd was a level 1 on Saffir-Simpson scale but the amount of water it carried put it in history for it rainfall. The floods that Floyd caused was resposible for 50 of the 56 deaths in the US, which also cost us $6 billionin damage. With hurricane Floyd, it wasn't the winds that cause the most damage, it was the rain fall and the floods the did it for the US.

Blog Post #7

1.A. Pangaea Time Scale
B. The reason why it was so good is because I worked so hard on it and put a lot of information on it.
2. The grade that I think I should get is a 89% because even though I worked really hard on all my posts, their are still some that might lack information and one is incomplete due to time.

3. The chapter that I liked the most was Chapter 14 about Ocean Water and Ocean Life. I liked how there are many ways that the ocean controls below and above the sea. How the ocean controls the temperature below and pulls all over the world. Which then moves above the ocean a regulates the temperature in the air. It also controls how the wild life on land survive from day to day, along with the sea life. That's why I like Chapter 14 most of all.

Panda Rescue

1. 1.Chinese earthquake: Giant pandas rescued
2.Telegraph.co.uk

2.Sent boulders as "big as Volkswagens" crashing down from nearby mountains

3. I can agree with him because rocks falling from mutliple mountains can cause serious damage even if there not giant size. Still during earthquakes, huge rocks can fall or roll down that could trap, block, or even kill someone. So when he said that they were the size of volkswagens, I can believe that.
